Bangladesh Whitepages was formed in January 2004, with the whole idea first proposed by Mohammed Tajuddin, currently living in Australia. Starting with very limited resources, the mission was clear: introduce Bangladesh — its people, human resources, business, and natural beauty — to the world.
Most developed countries have their own whitepages maintained by government. Bangladesh Whitepages aims to fill that gap as a trusted, private community directory managed by the Whitepages Development Group.
Everything we do is guided by a commitment to accuracy, community, and connection.
We aim to be one of the most trusted sources for information about people, businesses, restaurants, trade, and tourist places in Bangladesh.
No information is published without justification and verification. We uphold quality standards to keep the directory accurate and trustworthy.
Run by volunteers giving their spare time, we encourage Bangladeshis everywhere to contribute, whether through information, development, or financial support.
We plan to build a dedicated portal for Bangladeshis living abroad, providing legal advice, rights information, and community connections worldwide.
Businesses can advertise at very low cost, expanding their reach globally. Internet is the most cost-effective media to grow your customer base across the world.
We continue to evolve, adding new features and resources with every update. More volunteers and funding help us move faster towards our vision.
From a single idea in Australia to a growing resource for millions.
M Tajuddin, based in Australia, proposes the concept of a Bangladeshi whitepages directory. Bangladesh Whitepages is officially formed and begins its journey with very limited resources but a very clear purpose.
The volunteer management committee begins analysing and verifying information, while M Tajuddin spends personal spare time developing and updating the website. All members balance full-time jobs alongside their commitment.
Work continues to add more categories covering people, business, technology, economy, political situation, and tourist spots. The platform grows steadily with community contributions from Bangladeshis worldwide.
A dedicated overseas portal will help Bangladeshis living abroad access legal advice, know their rights, and stay connected to their home country. The platform will continue growing as a global hub for all things Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Whitepages needs your support — whether through information, skills, or financial contribution.
